Our vision is to support families in their journey to develop children into people who live and love more like Jesus. We want your kids to experience these three things:

• Know God intimately by developing a reservoir of TRUTH based on a Christian worldview
• Love God passionately by displaying Christlike CHARACTER in every area of life
• Serve God selflessly by demonstrating ACTIONS that honors God and helps people

The early childhood years are a time of great growth and learning for every child. They are busy forming their first impressions about everything, including God and the church. We want those first experiences to be positive ones. At Sandy Ridge, we strive to create a fun and loving environment where your children can learn about who God is and His love for them.

Important Note to Parents:

The Children’s Ministry should not take over the God-ordained, parental responsibility; but rather, we will strive to equip, support, and encourage parents in their vital role (see Deut. 6:6-7).

During our worship service, children are dismissed about 15-20 minutes into the service. We do this because we want them to see their parents, others, and even themselves can participate in worshiping God through singing if they so choose.

What happens during Children’s Church? We present God’s truth to the kids in a way they can understand through Bible stories, music, and crafts just to name a few.

Of course, for toddlers and babies we have people to care for them as soon as the worship service starts. Your kids will have a wonderful time in a safe, loving environment while you enjoy the service. And don't be surprised if they come home with some new friends!
